Garden Room

Located on the ground floor, the Garden Room is the largest of our three guest rooms (24m²; 258ft²) and enjoys a lovely triple aspect with views across the gardens. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet cup of tea or coffee while watching the birds at the feeder just outside the window in the rose garden.

The room features a standard double bed (4’6”), a comfortable seating area with sofa and coffee table, a dressing table/desk, double wardrobe, and chest of drawers. The luxurious ensuite bathroom includes a spacious walk-in shower, and both the bedroom and bathroom have slightly wider doors (800mm) for easier access.

The sofa converts into a standard double bed, allowing the Garden Room to sleep three guests comfortably — or four at a friendly squeeze!

Check-in is between 4-7pm and check-out anytime before 11am
Extra pillows are in the wardrobe
A torch is in the top drawer of the dressing table.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.30am. We offer a continental buffet while we prepare your choice of cooked breakfast.
To help us stay organised, reduce waste, and ensure your meal is freshly cooked without a long wait, we kindly ask guests to complete a breakfast pre-order form the night before. View our breakfast menu.

House Rules

To help keep our rooms fresh and comfortable for everyone, we ask that outdoor shoes aren’t worn inside the guest rooms. We leave shoe trays by the front door (for muddy walking boots!) and outside each room - please make use of our cosy slippers for your comfort.
As Pond Cottage is open plan, sound can travel, so we’d be grateful if you could be mindful of noise if returning late in the evening.
For safety reasons — including the presence of a deep wildlife pond — we are unable to accommodate children under 16 years of age.
We operate a no-pets policy.
No smoking is allowed anywhere in Pond Cottage.
